The Government of India’s fully-funded scholarships under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme are available to Moroccan nationals aged between 25-45 years for short, medium and long term courses on different subjects. Persons employed in Government Departments, Public Sector Undertakings, Chambers of Commerce, Universities etc. are eligible for the training courses. When applying, they should fill the application completely with no columns left blank and submit it online. The print-out of the application has to be forwarded to the Directorate of Asian and Oceania Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation & Moroccan Expatriates, Kingdom of Morocco along with the signed undertaking from the candidate, duly signed and stamped certification from the employer and medical fitness certificate obtained from a registered practicing doctor. These documents are part of the application and should be nicely filled and complete. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation & Moroccan Expatriates, Kingdom of Morocco will then forward the complete application to the Embassy of India in Rabat, who, after screening, will forward it to the Government of India for approval.
These courses are conducted in English language only and, therefore, knowledge of English language is mandatory. Persons working in the private sector may also apply. The slots are allotted on First-Come-First-Served basis.
