           Following the visit of Hon’ble External Affairs Minister of India to Morocco on 17^th - 18^th February, 2019 and signing of Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of India and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco, on the reciprocal facilitation of procedures for issue of Business Visa, it has been decided to implement the same from 01 April 2019.

2. Salient features of the agreement are as follows:

Ø  Business visa seekers would be eligible for Business visas with multiple entries valid for a period of 12 month, on case to case basis, on submission of a request letter issued by a company, duly recognized by Chamber of Commerce and Industry, business and trade promotion council or a duly recognized business Organisation;

Ø  Business visa seekers would be required to submit necessary documents, in accordance with the visa regulations, in addition to, as appropriate, notes verbales, official letters or letters of approval or invitation letters along with applicable visa fees;

Ø  Business visas will be granted in seven (07) working days as far as possible, from the date of receipt of all required documents;

Ø  Business visa holders would be required to register themselves with the competent authorities in case the aggregate stay on Business visa exceeds 180 days during a calendar year.
